Bruen<\/em> (2022) decision.<\/p>\n<p>Scutari said, \u201cMy personal belief is that our way of life is being threatened, essentially, by certain things that have gone on in the federal government. We need to address that [with this] particular piece of legislation that we\u2019re going to drop today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The New Jersey Monitor <a href=\"https:\/\/newjerseymonitor.com\/2022\/10\/13\/n-j-democrats-propose-expansive-gun-control-bill\/\">notes<\/a>\u00a0that Scutari added, \u201cWe believe this strikes the right balance to allow for constitutionally allowable gun carry, but not just anywhere you want it to be and not just for any person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">Assemblyman Joe Danielsen (D) also commented on the bill, saying, \u201cFor me, as a responsible, law-abiding citizen, this bill changes very little. For millions, this bill provides the safety without causing constitutional conflict.
