While attempting to talk up a previously passed infrastructure package, the Democrat president <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/video\/2022\/10\/13\/biden_if_republicans_win_inflation_is_going_to_get_worse.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> that \u201cif Republicans win\u201d control of Congress next month, \u201cinflation is going to get worse. It\u2019s that simple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFolks, you know, Republicans are going to make you \u2014 working, middle-class folks \u2014 pay higher taxes. \u2026 And the biggest corporations \u2014 and, by the way, in every single piece of legislation I\u2019ve gotten passed with the help of the people here, we have not raised the tax on anybody making less than 400,000 bucks a year one penny,\u201d Biden asserted, despite a <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/08\/15\/inflation-reduction-act-will-cost-middle-class-20b-cbo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> from the Congressional Budget Office analyzing the effects of the Democrats\u2019 wrongly termed \u201cInflation Reduction Act\u201d showing otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/its-that-simple-biden-goes-all-in-tying-republicans-to-future-inflation\/ar-AA12X6gg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new<\/a> report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, yearly inflation ending in September is up to 8.2 percent, while \u201c[c]ore inflation, which factors out energy and food prices, rose to 6.6%, the highest mark since 1982.\u201d Since Biden took office in January of last year, the prices of everyday commodities, from <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/23\/grocery-shop-with-me-to-fact-check-bidens-inflation-up-hardly-at-all-claim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">food<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/10\/10\/energy-inflation-isnt-an-accident-its-a-planned-demolition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gasoline and energy<\/a>, have all skyrocketed to levels not seen in decades.<\/p>\n<p>Despite such cataclysmically awful numbers, Biden and company have repeatedly tried to downplay the economic effect inflation has had on average Americans. During a \u201c60 Minutes\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/greg_price11\/status\/1571653897634353152?s=20&#038;t=PTHsZoautyTA6esD0_EHJw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interview<\/a> last month, for instance, the president <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/politics\/president-biden-argues-about-inflation-60-minutes-interview-hasnt-spiked\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">proclaimed<\/a> that the month-to-month inflation rate was \u201cup just an inch, hardly at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since his inauguration, Biden, along with a Democrat-controlled Congress, has wasted no time in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/biden-congressional-dems-major-laws-add-up-3-8-trillion-price-tag-despite-razor-thin-majority\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">spending trillions<\/a> of dollars to fund left-wing pet projects that have done nothing to address the needs of the American people. In addition to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/house-democrats-pass-739b-manchin-schumer-boosting-bidens-agenda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">roughly $740 billion<\/a> deceptively named \u201cInflation Reduction Act,\u201d Democrats also passed the $1.9 trillion \u201cAmerican Rescue Plan\u201d during the early months of the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>Taking their messaging cues from Biden, the country\u2019s corporate media and political elites throughout Washington, D.C., have adopted the administration\u2019s new tactic and are forecasting an even worse economy under a GOP-controlled Congress.
