Version: 4.0.47--><p><strong>Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary Alexander Venediktov warned that allowing Ukraine to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) would spark a \u201cguaranteed escalation to World War Three.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>President Volodymyr Zelensky requested a \u201cfast-tracked\u201d admission into the US-led NATO military alliance following the annexation of four breakaway regions in the Donbas region of Eastern Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Security Council Deputy Secretary Alexander Venediktov <a href=\"https:\/\/tass.com\/politics\/1521961\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told <\/a>Russian state news agency TASS he believed the accession request from Ukraine was nothing more than a \u201cpropaganda move.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Venediktov said that should Ukraine be accepted into the Western alliance, \u201cKiev is well aware that such a step would mean a guaranteed escalation to World War Three.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApparently, that\u2019s what they are counting on \u2013 to create informational noise and draw attention to themselves once again,\u201d the Russian security tsar said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut given that many members of the Kiev regime are out of touch with reality, I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if some people out there really expect their country to be admitted to NATO.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Venediktov NATO understands the \u201csuicidal nature\u201d of allowing Ukraine into the alliance, adding that he did not expect \u201cserious\u201d powers to allow such a move to occur, which would lead to a potential triggering of Article Five of the treaty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyfetched.com\/former-senator-globalists-marching-us-relentlessly-toward-nuclear-armageddon\/\">Former Senator: \u2018Globalists Marching Us Relentlessly Toward Nuclear Armageddon\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are also aware that, despite statements about not being involved in the events in Ukraine, the real actions taken by Westerners show that they are a direct party to the conflict,\u201d the official said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn any case, Russia\u2019s position remains unchanged: Ukraine\u2019s accession to NATO or some other alliances formed under the auspices of the United States is unacceptable for us,\u201d the Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council concluded.<\/p>\n<p>But NATO membership from Ukraine is not likely given the requirement for all 30 members to give their consent to the accession, including countries like Hungary, which would more than likely oppose the move.<\/p>\n<p>However, the looming threat of World War III is still present amid rhetoric from Russia and the West.<\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/biden-nuclear-risk-1d0f1e40cff3a92c662c57f274ce0e25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">warned<\/a> of Armageddon last week:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since [President] Kennedy and the [1962] Cuban missile crisis.
