Mexico\u2019s lawsuit alleges that the dealers systematically participate in the arms trafficking of military-style weapons.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/second-amendment-groups-send-legal-warning-to-california-ag-to-comply-with-supreme-court-decision-on-right-to-carry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Second Amendment Groups Send Legal Warning To California AG To Comply With Supreme Court Decision On Right To Carry<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mexico says this lawsuit is a part of its strategy to prevent the flow of assault weapons into the country,\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/sre\/prensa\/the-government-of-mexico-files-a-second-lawsuit-to-combat-illicit-arms-trafficking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>according to the press release it issued<\/strong><\/a><strong>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mexico alleges that at least five Arizona gun dealers are making these kinds of weapons available for criminal organizations in the country through sales to straw purchasers and sales meant for arms smugglers.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The gun dealers named in the suit include: (i) Diamondback Shooting Sports, Inc. (Tucson); (ii) SNG Tactical, LLC (Tucson); (iii) Loan Prairie, LLC, known as The Hub Target Sports (Tucson); (iv) Ammo A-Z, LLC (Phoenix), and (v) Sprague\u2019s Sports, Inc. (Yuma).<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mexico added that these gun sales contribute to the uptick in drug trafficking in the United States.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Support Conservative Voices! <strong>Sign up to receive the latest<\/strong> political news, insight, and commentary delivered directly to your inbox.  <\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cThis court action in no way challenges the Constitutional right of U.S. citizens to bear arms, nor the right of stores to sell their products responsibly and lawfully,\u201d Mexico said in a press release. \u201cThe lawsuit addresses a cause shared by both countries, whose citizens suffer from illicit firearms practices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mexico says this lawsuit makes the following arguments: \u201cthe sellers do not comply with required safeguards; cause foreseeable damage; use misleading and tendentious advertising; sell guns that are turned into automatic weapons; cause a disturbance of public order, and violate state and federal laws, causing enormous damage in Mexico.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/hundreds-of-virginians-have-had-firearms-confiscated-through-red-flag-laws\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hundreds Of Virginians Have Had Firearms Confiscated Through Red-Flag Laws<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This marks the second lawsuit filed by Mexico against the U.S. arms industry. It filed one in the U.S. District Court in Boston, Massachusetts, against U.S. gun manufacturers last month. However, Judge F. Dennis Saylor\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/legal\/us-judge-dismisses-mexicos-10-bln-lawsuit-against-gun-makers-2022-09-30\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">ruled<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0last month that Mexico did not have a case due to protections for gun manufacturers established by the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act in 2005.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Yet, Mexico thinks a favorable ruling in its more recent lawsuit would provide support for its Boston lawsuit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cit would prove that the gun manufacturers are negligent for not monitoring or disciplining the dealers who sell their products,\u201d Mexico wrote in its press release.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mexico says it is confident that both lawsuits will succeed.
