Nevertheless, inflation <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/biden-says-prices-too-high-as-inflation-rises-before-midterms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">continues to rise<\/a> and economists are increasingly worried the United States could enter a recession\u2014if we haven&#8217;t already.<\/p>\n<p>Biden promised the American people this wouldn&#8217;t happen. Last year, for example, he <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/biden-inflation-flashback-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">insisted<\/a> that &#8220;nobody&#8217;s suggesting there&#8217;s unchecked inflation on the way&#8221; and boasted that &#8220;the stock market is higher than it has been in all of history.&#8221; Since then, the stock market has fallen significantly while inflation has entered &#8220;unchecked&#8221; territory. It&#8217;s easy to see why nearly 8 in 10 Americans <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CNN\/status\/1580350132138057728\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">say<\/a> the economy is in bad shape.<\/p>\n<p>The 79-year-old president appears to be losing touch with reality.
