The project follows Hudgens and her best friend, musician GG McGee, as they attempt to interact with the supernatural and head to Salem, Massachusetts, to deepen their connection to witchcraft.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/movies\">film<\/a> is in post-production and currently being shopped around, the publication reported. It\u2019s being pitched as \u201cThe Craft\u201d mixed with \u201cThe Simple Life.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs self-taught students of witchcraft, intuitives and empaths they have been experimenting with and connecting to the spirit world,\u201d the film description <a href=\"https:\/\/www.banijayrights.com\/programmes\/14120\">says<\/a>. \u201cThey have begun to pull back the thin veil between the living and the dead, the darkness and the light, and good and evil.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It continues, saying after a \u201cghost hunt gone wrong,\u201d the duo heads to the city with a deep history of witchcraft for help. \u201cVanessa and GG embark on a pilgrimage to Salem, Massachusetts for a master class in witchcraft, the power of the goddess, and the Divine Feminine,\u201d the description continues.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile they hone their craft, bind their sisterhood and step into their personal power, they unearth the personal demons holding them back from fulfilling their own destiny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both Hudgens and McGee have been experimenting with the supernatural since childhood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve been doing little spells since they were kids, and they were just really interested in that world,\u201d Julie Pizzi, president of Bunim\/Murray Productions, told Variety.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re so into it,\u201d Pizzi said. \u201cAs we got to know them, we realized that their curiosity in connecting with the spirit realm and paranormal and supernatural exploration was so much deeper than ghost hunting. It\u2019s an exploration in the spiritual realm. It\u2019s a lot about self love, and them finding their inner strength and power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s entertainment first, but there\u2019s a real, personal, spiritual journey that they both have together,\u201d Pizzi continued. \u201cIt\u2019s so emotionally raw that it really created such a beautiful narrative. It\u2019s a lot about female empowerment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hudgens is best known for her role in the popular \u201cHigh School Musical\u201d Disney series in the early 2000s. She\u2019s also a musician and has had other acting roles in the years since.
