The \u201cmuch younger\u201d staffer was allegedly unable to move under his body weight. Onlookers say Murray was attempting to kiss the staffer while both were wearing masks, per <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/10\/11\/bill-murray-accused-of-kissing-and-straddling-female-staffer\/\">The New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The accuser said Murray tried to defend himself, but despite that, she \u201cinterpreted his actions as entirely sexual\u201d and was \u201chorrified.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Murray had previously addressed the controversy after the film got shut down earlier this year. He called the sexual assault allegations a \u201cdifference of opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did something I thought was funny, and it wasn\u2019t taken that way,\u201d Murray said in April, as The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bill-murray-addresses-allegation-of-inappropriate-behavior-that-led-to-shutdown-of-latest-film\">reported<\/a>. \u201cThe company, the movie studio, wanted to do the right thing, so they wanted to check it all out, investigate it, and so they stopped the production.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I feel like if I don\u2019t see that, you know, the world is different than it was when I was a little kid,\u201d he continued. \u201cYou know, what I always thought was funny as a little kid isn\u2019t necessarily the same as what\u2019s funny now. Things change and the times change, so it\u2019s important for me to figure it out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I think the most important thing is that it\u2019s best for the other person. I thought about it, and if it\u2019s not best for the other person, doesn\u2019t matter what happens for me,\u201d the comedian continued.<\/p>\n<p>After the accuser filed an official complaint, she and Murray entered mediation. They agreed upon a settlement payment of more than $100,000.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Just as this new report drops, actress Geena Davis came out with her own story of what she describes as Murray being \u201cdifficult\u201d on set and allegedly using a massage device on her back without her consent.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never spoken about it publicly,\u201d Davis told <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/movies\/geena-davis-recalls-bill-murray-being-difficult-he-knows-very-well-the-way-he-can-behave\/\">People<\/a> of the incident she said happened on the set of \u201cQuick Change\u201d in 1989. She wrote out the details as she remembered them in her memoir.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said no multiple times, but he wouldn\u2019t relent,\u201d Davis recalled. \u201cI would have had to yell at him and cause a scene if I was to get him to give up trying to force me to do it; the other men in the room did nothing to make it stop.
