Yet there is one state-level lawmaker who has repeatedly garnered the nation\u2019s attention by making even the most extreme leftists in Congress seem like Rand Paul or Josh Hawley.<\/p>\n<p>A brief overview of policies forwarded by Scott Wiener, a Democratic member of the California State Senate, establishes the official as one of the most dangerous lawmakers in the nation.<\/p>\n<p>Legal Infanticide<\/p>\n<p>The Golden State has a reputation for ardently supporting abortion \u2014 but Wiener supported a bill that would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/california-democrats-are-pushing-a-bill-opening-the-door-to-decriminalizing-infanticide-pro-lifers-warn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">open the door<\/a> to legal protections for killing pre-born babies after birth.<\/p>\n<p>Assembly Bill 2223, which has <a href=\"https:\/\/leginfo.legislature.ca.gov\/faces\/billVotesClient.xhtml?bill_id=202120220AB2223\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">passed<\/a> both chambers of the California legislature, states that mothers cannot be held liable for either civil or criminal penalties \u201cbased on their actions or omissions\u201d connected to a \u201cperinatal death due to a pregnancy-related cause.\u201d The word perinatal, which the legislation does not define, usually refers to a few weeks both before and after the baby is born \u2014 implying that protections for already-born babies against murder could be eroded in the name of choice.<\/p>\n<p>The bill would also remove the requirement that coroners investigate the cause of \u201cviolent, sudden, or unusual deaths\u201d related to \u201cself-induced or criminal abortion.\u201d It would also nix the requirement that an \u201cunattended fetal death be handled as a death without medical attendance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pedophilia<\/p>\n<p>If children in California manage to escape abortion and reach adolescence, legislation proposed and passed into law by Wiener could let adults <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/newsom-signs-bill-that-could-alter-sex-offender-registration-for-gay-sex-with-minors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sexually abuse<\/a> them while more easily keeping their names off sex offender registries.<\/p>\n<p>Senate Bill 145, <a href=\"https:\/\/leginfo.legislature.ca.gov\/faces\/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201920200SB145\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">signed<\/a> by Governor Gavin Newsom two years ago, would allow a young adult who has a homosexual encounter with a minor escape registering as a sex offender in some cases, based upon the discretion of a judge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>California law had previously dictated that any case of anal or oral sex with a minor, as well as vaginal penetration with any object besides a penis, requires the adult perpetrator to register as a sex offender, while judges had more leeway in cases of vaginal intercourse with an underage girl. Wiener said that the new law resolves California\u2019s discrimination against homosexuals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so grateful that Governor Newsom \u2014 one of the LGBTQ community\u2019s strongest allies ever \u2014 once again has shown that he\u2019s willing to support our community when it\u2019s hard,\u201d Wiener, a homosexual himself, said upon the legislation\u2019s approval. \u201cToday, California took yet another step toward an equitable society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other Democratic lawmakers, including Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzales, balked at the extreme legislation. \u201cI cannot in my mind as a mother understand how sex between a 24-year-old and a 14-year-old could ever be consensual, how it could ever not be a registrable offense,\u201d she remarked. \u201cWe should never give up on this idea that children should be in no way subject to a predator.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vaccines And Transgender Surgeries Without Parental Consent<\/p>\n<p>Wiener has filed legislation twice this year eroding parental authority over their own children \u2014 once in relation to vaccines, and once in relation to transgender procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Senate Bill 866 would allow children aged 12 and above to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/proposed-california-bill-would-allow-kids-12-to-be-vaccinated-without-parental-consent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">receive vaccines<\/a> without parental consent since, according to Wiener, unvaccinated children put themselves and others at risk. He also noted that California lets teenagers access abortion without requiring the blessing of their mothers and fathers. \u201cIt\u2019s unconscionable for teens to be blocked from the vaccine because a parent either refuses or cannot take their child to a vaccination site,\u201d he argued.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Senate Bill 107 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/california-senate-passes-transgender-refuge-bill-eroding-parental-rights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">states<\/a> that courts would have \u201ctemporary emergency jurisdiction\u201d if a child is \u201cunable to obtain gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care.\u201d Wiener condemned \u201cvile anti-LGBTQ hate laws\u201d from \u201cright-wing politicians\u201d that would prevent children from receiving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/transgender-surgery-poised-to-become-a-5-billion-industry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dangerous surgeries<\/a> and hormones against their parents\u2019 wishes.<\/p>\n<p>Males In Female Prisons<\/p>\n<p>Wiener was the author of legislation permitting male California inmates to identify themselves as the opposite sex and relocate to female prisons.<\/p>\n<p>Senate Bill 132, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/prea\/sb-132-faqs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">became law<\/a> at the beginning of last year, lets transgender, nonbinary, and intersex individuals stay in facilities that correspond to their professed gender. \u201cIt\u2019s a really positive step forward,\u201d Wiener <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/12\/scott-weiner-california-trans-prisons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">remarked<\/a> at a town hall event. \u201cIn California we are moving the opposite direction, embracing our trans siblings, making it clear that trans people are fully part of this community, and that we love and honor them, and that we are gonna lift them up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Multiple female inmates have since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/female-inmate-pregnant-after-being-forced-to-share-prison-with-biological-men-claiming-to-be-transgender\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claimed<\/a> that they were impregnated by fellow prisoners claiming transgender identity.
