The survey says the older generations born outside the nation are more likely to view the explorer favorably than those born in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Among 18-39 years-old Latinos, 45% have a favorable view of Columbus, while 30% view him unfavorably. Among 40-59 year-olds, 54% have a favorable opinion of him and 29% unfavorable.
