While the tweet was ultimately restored on Sunday morning, Twitter initially defended the post\u2019s removal by claiming it violated the company\u2019s coronavirus misinformation policies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur current misleading information policies cover: synthetic and manipulated media, COVID-19, and civic integrity,\u201d Twitter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2022\/10\/09\/twitter-censors-florida-surgeon-general-joseph-ladapos-coronavirus-vaccine-guidance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reportedly stated<\/a>. \u201cIf we determine a Tweet contains misleading or disputed information per our policies that could lead to harm, we may add a label to the content to provide context and additional information.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><\/figure>\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahealthcovid19.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/20221007-guidance-mrna-covid19-vaccines-analysis.pdf?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=govdelivery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">analysis<\/a> Ladapo released, males aged 18-39 were found to be at \u201cthe highest risk\u201d for cardiac-related mortality after having received the Covid jab, with the study noting that \u201c[t]he risk associated with mRNA vaccination should be weighed against the risk associated with COVID-19 infection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCOVID-19 vaccination was associated with a modestly increased risk for cardiac-related mortality 28 days following vaccination,\u201d the study reads. \u201cResults from the stratified analysis for cardiac-related death following vaccination suggests mRNA vaccination may be driving the increased risk in males, especially among males aged 18-39. Risk for both all-cause and cardiac-related deaths was substantially higher 28 days following COVID-19 infection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In citing the analysis, Ladapo officially updated his office\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahealthcovid19.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/20221007-guidance-mrna-covid19-vaccines-doc.pdf?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=govdelivery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">guidance<\/a> on the shots, now advising against giving them to 18-39-year-old males. Back in March, the Florida surgeon general\u2019s office also issued <a href=\"http:\/\/ww11.doh.state.fl.us\/comm\/_partners\/covid19_report_archive\/press-release-assets\/g2-jtr_QWBT4hJpqr_20220308-1923.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">similar guidance<\/a> advising against offering the experimental jabs to children under 18 due to the \u201c[l]imited risk of severe illness\u201d posed by the virus, the \u201c[h]igh prevalence of existing immunity,\u201d and the risk of myocarditis, among others.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Florida, public health entities in countries such as Germany, France, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway have all <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/28\/why-arent-more-republicans-highlighting-the-risks-of-giving-infants-covid-shots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recommended against<\/a> \u201cthe distribution of the Moderna Covid shots for individuals under the age of 30,\u201d with all of them \u201cciting the documented risk of heart inflammation among young people as justification.\u201d In the case of Denmark, the country\u2019s Health Authority recently updated its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sst.dk\/en\/English\/Corona-eng\/Vaccination-against-COVID-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official guidance<\/a> last month to where now only \u201cpeople who have reached the age of 50 and particularly vulnerable people will be offered vaccination.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Shawn Fleetwood is a Staff Writer for The Federalist and a graduate of the University of Mary Washington.
