The Democrat said the move removes a burden on thousands of people who have been denied housing, employment and educational opportunities over their convictions.<\/p>\n<p>Biden also instructed Attorney General Merrick Garland and HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra to consider reclassifying marijuana. Marijuana is currently a schedule 1 drug.
