This time the FBI is in the spotlight for allegedly downplaying the successes of the Second Amendment.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\">\n<\/div>\n<p>According to data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/crimeresearch.org\/2022\/10\/massive-errors-in-fbis-active-shooting-reports-regarding-cases-where-civilians-stop-attacks-instead-of-4-4-the-correct-number-is-at-least-34-4-in-2021-it-is-at-least-49-1-excluding-gun-free-zon\/\">Crime Prevention Research Center<\/a> (CPRC), the FBI claimed that 4.4% of armed Americans have stopped active shooters from 2014 to 2021. However, researchers say that the true number is at least over 34% and that it is over nearly 50% in 2021 alone.<\/p>\n<p>The bureau\u2019s current count does not include incidents where the active shooting occurred during the process of another crime.
