Gallagher was not home at the time of the raid so the FBI \u201cdemanded his whereabouts from Gallagher\u2019s family\u201d and his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/fbi-charges-multiple-individuals-peaceful-protests-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">neighbors<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Gallagher is one of 11 activists devoted to defending unborn life who were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/eleven-defendants-indicted-obstructing-reproductive-health-services-facility-tennessee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">federally indicted <\/a>by the Department of Justice this week for allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act by standing in a hallway outside the Carafem abortion facility in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, in March 2021. Gallagher and six others were also charged with civil rights conspiracy. <\/p>\n<p>You wouldn\u2019t know it from the DOJ\u2019s press release, which claims the 11 individuals \u201caided and abetted by one another, used force and physical obstruction to injure, intimidate and interfere with employees of the clinic and a patient who was seeking reproductive health services,\u201d but the Christian pro-lifers spent most of their time peacefully praying, singing, and crying in the hallway leading to the abortion facility. Footage of the gathering eventually shows local police escorting several handcuffed members of the group out of the building and into a police van. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-peertube wp-block-embed-peertube\"><\/figure>\n<p>Compare this footage to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/08\/what-will-the-fbi-do-about-the-alarming-number-of-attacks-on-pro-life-centers-following-scotus-leak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pictures and videos<\/a> of pro-abortion vandals\u2019 damage to dozens of life-saving pregnancy centers and churches. A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/theanarchistlibrary.org\/library\/janes-revenge-first-communique\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mysterious anarchist-connected group<\/a>\u00a0called Jane\u2019s Revenge took responsibility for some of these attacks and threatened to \u201cadopt increasingly extreme tactics to maintain freedom over our own bodies.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Yet, it took more than a month and a half after the <em>Dobbs v. Jackson<\/em> decision leak and days after it refused to comment on the vandalism and destruction for the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/17\/a-month-and-a-half-after-dobbs-leak-fbi-says-they-will-investigate-attacks-on-pro-life-groups-pregnancy-centers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FBI to tell The Federalist<\/a> that it would investigate the attacks. Now, nearly six months later, the FBI and DOJ have yet to publicize <em>any<\/em> indictments for the criminals who wreaked havoc on the institutions providing life-saving services to women and children in need. <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s no accident. Attorney General Merrick Garland <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/11\/attorney-general-merrick-garland-admits-he-personally-approved-fbi-raid-on-trumps-home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">likes to pretend<\/a> that the rule of law grants no exceptions, but <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/17\/democrats-say-no-one-is-above-the-law-but-this-list-of-their-corrupt-allies-proves-otherwise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Americans know that\u2019s not the case<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The same corrupt DOJ that is targeting men, women, and children mourning the deaths of unborn babies dropped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/almost-half-of-federal-cases-against-portland-rioters-have-been-dismissed-11618501979\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nearly half<\/a> of its cases against the rioters who ravaged Portland for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/09\/08\/rioting-continues-in-democrat-run-u-s-cities-over-labor-day-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">100 consecutive days<\/a> during the 2020 summer of rage. The DOJ wants you to somehow believe that standing in a hallway is worse than the violence that shook cities such as Minneapolis, Portland, and Kenosha, Wisconsin, to their core.<\/p>\n<p>The same corrupt FBI that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/racing\/nascar\/story\/_\/id\/29354447\/fbi-says-rope-had-talladega-garage-last-fall-bubba-wallace-not-victim-hate-crime\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">flocked to Talladega Superspeedway<\/a>\u00a0over hate crime allegations that a garage pull cord was a noose designed to target NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace ignored the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/03\/lets-burn-this-place-down-left-calls-for-violence-after-treasonous-scotus-abortion-leak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">open calls for violence<\/a>\u00a0against Supreme Court justices, up to the point of an assassination attempt against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/2018\/9\/4\/17818708\/supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaugh-merrick-garland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one of Garland\u2019s former colleagues<\/a>. They want you to somehow believe that hoaxes warrant more of their attention than actual death threats. <\/p>\n<p>The same DOJ and FBI that are <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/19\/think-the-fbi-deserves-the-benefit-of-the-doubt-this-laundry-list-of-corruption-should-make-you-think-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">guilty of<\/a> approving falsified FISA warrants, misleading Congress and the former president, executing political witch hunts against Democrats\u2019 political opponents, and bringing a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/10\/04\/with-new-documents-the-biden-administrations-targeting-of-a-pro-life-dad-just-got-crazier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">faulty case<\/a> against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.givesendgo.com\/prolifefamily\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Houck<\/a> and his legal team at <a href=\"https:\/\/thomasmoresociety.org\/make-a-donation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Thomas More Society<\/a> want you to believe that they are equally applying justice.<\/p>\n<p>The dramatic arrests of more than a dozen peaceful pro-lifers while violent pro-abortionists live without fear of punishment for the destruction they have caused confirm they are not. <\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Jordan Boyd is a staff writer at The Federalist and co-producer of The Federalist Radio Hour.
