(Photo by Katharine Lotze\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 1:27 PM PT \u2013 Tuesday, October 4, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The United States Soccer and the National Women\u2019s Soccer League reviewed a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kslaw.com\/attachments\/000\/009\/931\/original\/King___Spalding_-_Full_Report_to_USSF.pdf?1664809048\">report<\/a> alleging that abuse against its players is systemic within the league.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\">\n<\/div>\n<p>The report by former acting Attorney General, Sally Q. Yates, was released on Monday. The report detailed allegations of abusive behavior and sexual misconduct in Women\u2019s Professional Soccer. Among the reports, the most disturbing findings were the sexual harassment and coercion allegations against former coach, Paul Riley. The allegations date back to when he was managing the Portland Thorns in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Soccer President and former NWSL member, Cindy Parlow Cone, said that she has been a part of this game all her life and \u201cfound the whole report challenging to read.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cAnd many of the players in this report I know,\u201d she said. \u201cMany of them I coached. I found the whole report shocking.
