for the way it portrays a talking fetus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Planned Parenthood official Caren Spruch said the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/critics-netflixs-blonde-exploitative-sexist-self-indulgent-act-cruelty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">creators of &#8220;Blonde&#8221;<\/a> &#8220;contribute to anti-abortion propaganda and stigmatize people\u2019s health care decisions instead.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In &#8220;Blonde,&#8221; Spruch said.<\/p>\n<p>Monroe never publicly revealed she had an abortion, but at the time of her gigantic success, it was commonplace for movie studios to arrange for female actors &#8220;to take a \u2018rest\u2019 or be out for an \u2018appendectomy\u2019 while the studio arranged for them to terminate a pregnancy,&#8221; according to Entertainment Weekly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/blonde-star-ana-de-armas-stuns-marilyn-monroe-newly-released-photos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>&#8216;BLONDE&#8217; STAR ANA DE ARMAS STUNS AS MARILYN MONROE IN NEWLY RELEASED PHOTOS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While the film has seen backlash for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/ana-de-armas-blondes-nc-17-rating\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hyper-sexualization<\/a> of Monroe, Spruch took greater issue with the &#8220;fetus depicted to look like a fully formed baby \u2026 Planned Parenthood respects artistic license and freedom. Wade lens is everybody else doing the same thing. They\u2019ve got a certain agenda where they feel like the freedoms of women are being compromised, and they look at \u2018Blonde\u2019 and they see a demon, but it\u2019s not really about that. I think it\u2019s very difficult for people to step outside of the stories they carry inside themselves and see things of their own volition. And I think that\u2019s really what the movie is about. The dangers of that. But you know, it\u2019s difficult for people to be able to hold two things in their mind at once.
