It includes\u00a0356 Republicans, 449 Democrats, and 126 Independents and has\u00a0a credibility interval of plus or minus 3.8 percentage points for all respondents.<\/p>\n<p>According to the poll, 25 percent of respondents who are concerned that Republicans will\u00a0win control of both chambers said they fear that\u00a0the economy or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-inflation\">inflation<\/a> will worsen if that were to happen.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, among those who fear\u00a0that the Democrats will keep control of the Senate and the House of Representatives, 43 percent said they are concerned\u00a0the economy or inflation will get worse.<\/p>\n<p> Soaring Inflation, Border Crisis <\/p>\n<p>The latest poll comes less than\u00a0six weeks before the\u00a02022 midterm elections and at a time when inflation has soared across the country,\u00a0crippling American households who have lost\u00a0the equivalent of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/americans-have-lost-4200-in-annual-income-under-biden-administration-report_4754600.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$4,200 in annual income<\/a>\u00a0since President Joe Biden took office, according to data\u00a0compiled by\u00a0The<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A growing number of Americans are worried that\u00a0the midterm elections will result in a divided government and split control of Congress after November, according to a new poll.
