Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has pushed back on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-fbi\">FBI<\/a>\u2019s denial of his allegations that the agency had engaged in a conservative \u201cpurge\u201d and was cracking down on whistleblowers.<\/p>\n<p>The Republican lawmaker made the remarks in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/jim-jordan-hits-back-fbi-denies-allegations-conservative-purge-kidding\">interview on Sept. 30<\/a> on Fox News, in which he took aim at the FBI\u2019s dismissal of his allegations as \u201cfalse and misleading\u201d and pushed back on the agency\u2019s assertion that it has simply been doing its job and following lawful procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstablished policies and procedures, are you kidding me?\u201d Jordan told the outlet, giving examples of FBI actions that he suggested were politically motivated, including the raid on the home of former President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the past several weeks, they\u2019ve raided the home of a former president, taking the phone of a sitting member of Congress, and we saw what they did to the pastor and his family and seven children: 20 agents, guns drawn, going to his house, when the local officials said there was no crime whatsoever,\u201d Jordan continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo established policies, you\u2019ve got to be kidding me. So that\u2019s what\u2019s going on at the FBI.
