(Photo by Mark Hoffman-Pool\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 5:57 PM PT \u2013 Friday September 30, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Wisconsin judge has ruled that the alleged attacker of the Waukesha Christmas parade will be allowed to represent himself at trial.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\">\n<\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" data-placeholder-image=\"https:\/\/c3.oann.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/complianz-gdpr\/assets\/images\/placeholders\/twitter-minimal.jpg\" class=\"cmplz-placeholder-element twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On Wednesday, Judge Jennifer Dorow granted the motion to allow Waukesha parade massacre suspect <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/DarrellBrooks?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#DarrellBrooks<\/a> to dismiss his counsel and represent himself during his trial, which is set to start on Oct. 3. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/5JTGiBg09H\">pic.twitter.com\/5JTGiBg09H<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Law&#038;Crime Network (@LawCrimeNetwork) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LawCrimeNetwork\/status\/1575214258740404225?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 28, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Darrell Brooks is facing 77-charges and life in prison if convicted. Brooks allegedly plowed his vehicle into a parade where he allegedly killed six and injured over 60 others in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>His trial is set for October 3<sup>rd<\/sup>. Brooks will now be able to question witnesses himself.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Jennifer Dorow\u2019s ruling came after numerous outbursts and interruptions from Brooks during the motion hearings.
