Adam Schiff, only to be rebuffed.<\/p>\n<p>The extraordinary accounting comes from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/nadler-feuded-schiff-pelosi-unconstitutional-impeachment-donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">excerpts of a new book<\/a> titled, \u201cUnchecked: The Untold Story Behind Congress\u2019s Botched Impeachments of Donald Trump\u200b.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fox News, which obtained the excerpts, reports that Nadler had issues with how Schiff (D-CA) was planning to run impeachment proceedings, particularly concerned that the then-President was not being afforded due process.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Democrat was so concerned, the book\u2019s authors reveal, that he told Schiff the process is \u201cunfair, and it\u2019s unprecedented, and it\u2019s unconstitutional.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jerry Nadler in 1998: \u201cAn impeachment of a President is an undoing of a National Election!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Democrats refuse to accept that Donald Trump trounced Hillary Clinton in 2016. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kVfllCk1FT\">https:\/\/t.co\/kVfllCk1FT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rep.
