They are repressors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the top constitutional lawyers in the country, and a self-described liberal Democrat, Dershowitz has been excoriated by both the right and the left for defending highly unpopular public figures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople love me when I defend people they like and they hate me when I defend people they don\u2019t like,\u201d says Dershowitz. \u201cThe more unpopular you are, the more likely I am to want to defend you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dershowitz shares his thoughts on COVID-19 mandates and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-censorship\">censorship<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-due-process\">due process<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-civil-liberties\">civil liberties<\/a>, as well as the rise of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-antisemitism\">antisemitism<\/a> in America.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou see these protests against Zionism by people who have no idea what Zionism is,\u201d claims Dershowitz. \u201cI\u2019ve been a Zionist from the time I was born.
