They\u2019re trying to take away the rights and freedoms of Americans. That\u2019s what we\u2019re calling out.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"soF1KjN8cXMfQ0a5EnOC\"><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">DOOCY TIME: Does\u2026Biden favor any limits on abortion?<\/p>\n<p>KJP: We&#8217;ve been very\u2026clear here\u2026I was talking specifically about Sen. If anything, it will finally bring the U.S. up to speed with what <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/13\/make-democrats-defend-their-abortion-extremism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">other civilized countries already have<\/a> and what American voters, including <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/07\/28\/democrats-push-taxpayer-funded-abortion-until-birth-despite-significant-unpopularity-among-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">some Democrats,<\/a> want. That\u2019s reflected in new polling from CRC Research which suggests that 55 percent of likely voters are less likely to vote for a candidate who \u201copposed any protections for the unborn.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Yet the White House clearly opposes straying from Democrats\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/18\/these-vulnerable-dems-wont-say-if-they-support-unpopular-unfettered-abortion-but-theyve-backed-it-before\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">radical midterm abortion agenda<\/a> \u2014 so much so that the administration is refusing to acknowledge that Graham\u2019s proposed 15-week ban is not the extreme war on voters\u2019 wishes <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/20\/media-activists-wont-grill-democrats-on-unpopular-abortion-extremism-because-they-agree-with-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">corporate media<\/a> say it is. <\/p>\n<p>Despite the White House\u2019s reluctance to disclose the president\u2019s position on abortion restrictions, President Joe Biden made his stance perfectly clear when he used <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/23\/catholic-church-already-fully-endorsed-gop-abortion-bill-that-biden-says-is-too-strict-for-catholic-church\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a lie<\/a> about the Catholic Church\u2019s view of abortion to justify smearing Graham\u2019s legislation. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy generic point \u2014 and I happen to be a practicing Roman Catholic \u2014 my church doesn\u2019t even make that argument now,\u201d Biden\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2022\/09\/22\/remarks-by-president-biden-at-a-democratic-national-committee-reception-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>\u00a0at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in New York City. \u201cAnd so we\u2019re in a situation where things have changed a lot. But they\u2019ve gotten more extreme in their positions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The truth is, the Catholic Church not only condemns abortion as wrong for any reason because life begins at conception, but the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) even endorsed Graham\u2019s bill.<\/p>\n<p>Much like his Democrat allies in the Senate, Biden wants to leverage the Supreme Court\u2019s\u00a0<em>Dobbs v. Jackson<\/em> decision to influence voters in the upcoming midterms. Biden might think that ignoring the truth about abortion will be all the ammunition he needs to justify his administration\u2019s radical abortion goals, but it won\u2019t.
