The 15-second <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@iamlesliegrace\/video\/7146999456255249706?is_copy_url=1&amp;is_from_webapp=v1&amp;item_id=7146999456255249706&amp;lang=en\">footage<\/a> includes Grace rehearsing a fight scene, jumping off a ledge while attached to wires, sitting in a makeup chair, and a quick shot of her wearing the Batgirl costume while riding a rocking horse.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The movie made headlines for being the one of the most expensive projects ever canceled. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/warner-bros\">Warner Bros<\/a>. Discovery invested $90 million in the film, but it never made it to audiences. The exact reasons remain unknown, but insiders note that the project could be used as a tax write-off without a release.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision to not release \u2018Batgirl\u2019 reflects our leadership\u2019s strategic shift as it relates to the DC universe and HBO Max,\u201d a Warner spokesperson stated at the time, as The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/warner-bros-shelves-batgirl-movie-despite-spending-90-million-shocking-industry\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The statement continued, specifically defending the lead actress\u2019s work and saying she was not the reason for the film never seeing the light of day. \u201cLeslie Grace is an incredibly talented actor and this decision is not a reflection of her performance,\u201d the statement continued.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the spokesperson said the studio hoped \u201cto collaborate with everyone again in the near future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grace also expressed how glad she was to be part of \u201cBatgirl\u201d even though it was canceled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the heels of the recent news, about our movie Batgirl, I am proud of the love, hard work and intention all of our incredible cast and tireless crew put into this film over seven months in Scotland,\u201d she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Cg0a7lhrtoL\/\">shared<\/a> on Instagram. \u201cI feel blessed to have worked among absolute greats and forged relationships for a lifetime in the process!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, saying, \u201cto every Batgirl fan\u201d: \u201cTHANK YOU for the love and belief, allowing me to take on the cape and become, as Babs said best, \u2018my own damn hero!\u2019 #Batgirl for life!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last month, film directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/batgirl-director-says-he-tried-to-record-clips-on-his-cell-phone-but-was-blocked-from-warner-bros-servers\">said<\/a> they attempted to salvage some of the footage on their phones only to find themselves locked out of the servers.<\/p>\n<p>Fallah said, \u201cAdil called me and told me, \u2018Go ahead! Shoot everything on your phone!\u2019 I went on the server \u2026 and everything was blocked. There was no way to access the film. We were: \u2018F***ing sh**!\u2019 All the scenes with Batman we didn\u2019t get to keep!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was not a talent problem on our part, the actress, or even the quality of the movie,\u201d Fallah said of the cancellation during an interview with SKRIPT. \u201cWe were right in the middle of editing, there was still a lot of work to be done!
