They wonder whether they can afford it\u2014can they afford to fill up their gas, can they go to the grocery store again which now costs more?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adding to these worries, McCarthy noted, is rapidly-rising inflation, which over the past year has broken record after record.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow [Americans\u2019] take-home pay is less,\u201d he said. \u201cThey only get 11 months, they lost one month of their wages, because the Democrats have caused inflation.
