A \u201cParents\u2019 Bill of Rights\u201d in the plan is important \u201cbecause you will have a say in your kids\u2019 education,\u201d McCarthy added.<\/p>\n<p>The first bill to reach the House floor will \u201crepeal 87,000 IRS agents,\u201d McCarthy said to an approving audience, alluding to one of the measures in the Inflation Reduction Act that Biden signed in August.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cCommitment to America\u201d is designed as a blueprint for governing in 2023. Though Democrats currently have a majority in the House, Republicans feel confident they will regain control of the chamber when midterm election results are announced on Nov. 8.<\/p>\n<p>Elections are being held for every seat in the House.
