Michael Cloud (R-Texas), ranking member of the\u00a0Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy, which is part of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. The subcommittee was on Thursday discussing\u00a0the role of corporate profiteering as a contributor to inflation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst, inflation was because of Putin. Then it wasn\u2019t,\u201d Cloud said. \u201cThen it was transitory\u2026 and then it wasn\u2019t.
