(Photo by Jeff Swensen\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 9:40 AM PT \u2013Friday, September 23, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A federal judge has rejected MyPillow CEO\u2019s Mike Lindell\u2019s request to block federal authorities from accessing his recently seized cell phone.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" data-placeholder-image=\"https:\/\/c3.oann.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/complianz-gdpr\/assets\/images\/placeholders\/twitter-minimal.jpg\" class=\"cmplz-placeholder-element twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Mike Lindell, in new court filing trying to recover the cell phone seized by the FBI, says it\u2019s absence has harmed business operations of MyPillow and also his personal health, in part because the phone is linked to his hearing aids. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/UP3gLzKCYP\">pic.twitter.com\/UP3gLzKCYP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kyle Cheney (@kyledcheney) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kyledcheney\/status\/1572993164142645251?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 22, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>In a decision on Thursday,  a United States district court judge ruled against Lindell\u2019s motion for a temporary restraining order and for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to return the phone. Judge Eric Tostrud, who a Trump appointee, said that Lindell did not properly answer the legal questions that were required to make the request.<\/p>\n<p>Lindell is suing the DOJ and FBI over allegations that the seizure of his phone may have been illegal. The CEO\u2019s phone was seized by the FBI at a Hardee\u2019s drive-thru in Minnesota. The Trump-supporting business executive has not been charged with a crime or has accused of wrongdoing by authorities.
