At the time, YouTube did not allow claims that said either of the two drugs were \u201ceffective treatments for COVID-19.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Later in November, Johnson was again <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/technology\/581360-youtube-temporarily-suspends-johnsons-channel-over-covid-19-misinformation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suspended<\/a> after posting a video discussing numbers from the Vaccine Adverse Effects Reporting System (VAERS), a self-reporting database.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce again Big Tech is censoring the truth,\u201d he stated after his account was handed a one-week suspension. \u201cWhy won\u2019t they let the vaccine injured tell their stories and medical experts give a second opinion? Why can\u2019t we discuss the harmful effects of mandates?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fellow Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/im-not-sure-when-youtube-became-an-arm-of-the-government-rand-paul-slaps-back-after-youtube-suspension\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clashed<\/a> with YouTube over its policies regarding what it deems to be misinformation.
