United have won four straight in the league since Maguire\u2019s last domestic start \u2013 a 4-0 defeat at Brentford. <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cClearly, it\u2019s not an ideal situation (with Maguire). We\u2019re only a few weeks on from pre-season so, physically, if they\u2019ve had a few 90 minutes, that\u2019s fine,\u201d Southgate told reporters ahead of England\u2019s Nations League game against Italy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnother seven to eight weeks, that does start to become more complicated. But he is an important player for us and it\u2019s important to back our best players.
