After that request was filed, the Secret Service denied involvement and declined to hand over records in connection to the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The latest complaint is asking the Department of Homeland Security for Secret Service records in connection to the alleged incident and is seeking relevant \u201creports, telephone logs, witness statements, and memoranda.\u201d It\u2019s also seeking to obtain messages between Secret Service officials and others.<\/p>\n<p>Text messages from Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop show that he criticized\u00a0Hallie after learning that she had tossed his gun in the trash, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/texts-reveal-hunter-biden-meltdown-discarded-gun-incident\">according<\/a> to reports. He said the incident is now \u201cin the hands of the FBI\u201d and said the FBI opened an investigation into him after the alleged incident. Other text messages suggest that the Secret Service got involved in response to the gun incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeau owned a handgun issued by the state and I[t] was in the front glove compartment of his car. So [expletive] you \u2026 What right do you [expletive] have Hallie,\u201d Hunter reportedly wrote in October 2018 to Hallie. \u201cThere are 5 guns in dads house. There are [expletive] more weapons in your sons room then in an armory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Hunter Biden\u2019s gun reportedly went missing, no charges were brought and no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Secret Service and the Biden administration apparently are in cover-up mode for Hunter Biden,\u201d Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.judicialwatch.org\/records-about-hunter-bidens-gun\/\">in<\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Advocacy group Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit to obtain details from the U.S. Secret Service relating to a gun incident involving Hunter Biden in Delaware in 2018.
