In an interview with FOX News on Wednesday, Trump said that there does not need to be a process for declassification. He added that a president can declassify documents by simply saying so. Trump asserted he had nothing to hide when taking the documents from the White House. The 45th President also noted that he was cooperating with the National Archives until the FBI searched his home. Trump proceeded to refer to the Archives as a radical group. \u201cThere doesn&#039;t have to be a process. There can be a process but there doesn\u2019t have to be. You\u2019re the president, you make that decision. So, when you send it, it\u2019s declassified. I declassified everything. Now I declassified things, and we were having a lot of problems with NARA (National Archives and Records Administration).
