She looks forward to that opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CNN\u00a0was the first to report on the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas\u2019s planned appearance was announced\u00a0shortly after the committee <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/jan-6-committee-to-hold-final-hearing-on-sept-28_4744549.html\">confirmed<\/a> that it would hold its next public hearing next week on Sept. 28. That hearing is likely to be the final hearing on the matter unless new developments are made, Chair Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) told reporters on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas has previously drawn scrutiny over her\u00a0communication with former White House chief of Staff\u00a0Mark Meadows\u00a0and legal expert\u00a0John Eastman.<\/p>\n<p>CNN reports that\u00a0the panel obtained email communications between Thomas and Eastman, as well as text messages between her and Meadows that were sent prior to the\u00a0Capitol breach.<\/p>\n<p>In one such message to Meadows, she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/ginni-thomas-not-trying-to-overturn-the-elections-attorney_4363530.html\">wrote<\/a>: \u201cHelp This Great President stand firm, Mark!!! \u2026 You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America\u2019s constitutional governance at the precipice. The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Supporters Point to Political Bias <\/p>\n<p>After her communications with Eastman and Meadows came to light, Thomas was widely criticized by Democrats who claimed that she had attempted to \u201coverturn the 2020 election.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A number of Republican leaders have voiced their support for\u00a0Ginni Thomas, including Rep.
