News (@enews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/enews\/status\/1570887751544803339?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 16, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3><strong>O\u2019Donnell Talks DeGeneres<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>O\u2019Donnell admitted that she and DeGeneres are not close during a recent appearance on <em>Watch What Happens Live!<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tv\/rosie-odonnell-shares-how-ellen-degeneres-hurt-her-feelings\/\">People Magazine<\/a> reported. The talk show host also said that DeGeneres hurt her feelings \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/transcripts.cnn.com\/show\/lkl\/date\/2004-09-07\/segment\/01\">during an interview with Larry King<\/a> back in 2004 \u2014 in a way that she has never forgotten. It all started when O\u2019Donnell told host Andy Cohen that she was never a guest on DeGeneres\u2019 talk show during it\u2019s entire twenty year run.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-6\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\u201cDid they not ask [you to appear]?\u201d Cohen asked, to which\u00a0O\u2019Donnell responded with a confident \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had a little bit of a weird thing,\u201d she disclosed, adding, \u201cAfter my show went off the air and hers was coming on the air, Larry King was on with Ellen and he said \u2018What ever happened to Rosie O\u2019Donnell? Her show went down the tubes! She came out as a lesbian and disappeared!\u2019\u00a0And Ellen said, and I\u2019m quoting, \u2018I don\u2019t know Rosie. Or was that a hallucination, auditory voice in my \u2014&#8217;\u201d she said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s what happened. And it hurt my feelings like a baby. But look at me now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In May of this year, after 19 seasons, <em>The Ellen DeGeneres Show<\/em> came to an end. DeGeneres\u2019 final years on the show were difficult, as they saw her be accused of presiding over a toxic workplace environment on set.
