Jim Jordan (R-OH) the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, ripped him for the FBI\u2019s alleged targeting of conservative individuals and organizations \u2014 including one led by a veteran \u2014 accusing the organization of classifying such organizations as extremist threats in order to advance a partisan political narrative.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmmv\">Jordan began by noting that as far back as July 27 he had written to Wray about \u201cwhistleblower disclosures that FBI officials were pressuring agents to reclassify cases as \u2018domestic violence extremism\u2019\u201d even if the cases did not meet the criteria to be classified as such, and said that Wray had refused to respond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmmv\">He pointed out that a whistleblower had revealed the FBI, in its \u201cDomestic Terrorism Symbols Guide\u201d on \u201cMilitia Violent Extremists\u201d included symbols such as \u201c2A,\u201d \u00a0the \u201cBetsy Ross Flag\u201d and the \u201cGadsden Flag\u201d as extreme symbols.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmmv\">Jordan then turned to the FBI \u201ccharacterization\u201d of the group American Contingency \u2014 which was founded by former U.S service member Mike Glover \u2014 as a domestic violent extremist group. Citing a whistle blower, Jordan said that the FBI investigated Glover\u2019s life by perusing his military records, veteran\u2019s disability rating, and monthly disability benefit. According to documents provided to Jordan, the FBI found in 2020 that Glover\u2019s group only \u201cdesires to assist Americans in preparing themselves for catastrophic events and not to overthrow the United States Government.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmmv\">\u201cThis whistleblower information suggests that the FBI opened an investigation into an American citizen \u2014 and deemed him a potential \u2018threat\u2019 \u2014 simply because he exercised his First Amendment right to speak out in protest of the government,\u201d Jordan charged, adding that the whistleblower stated, \u201cIt seems clear that this is an instance where an FBI employee reported something because it didn\u2019t align with their own Woke ideology.\u00a0 I think this is a primary example of how woke and corrupt the FBI has become.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmmv\">\u201cThis disclosure comports with other whistleblowers who have described how the FBI is pressuring its employees to recharacterize cases as DVE cases to artificially pad its data and advance a misleading political narrative,\u201d Jordan continued.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmmv\">\u201cOne whistleblower described the level of politicization within the FBI\u2019s leadership as \u2018rotted at its core,\u2019\u201d Jordan related. \u201cAs we have detailed, multiple whistleblowers have disclosed how the Biden FBI is conducting a \u2018purge\u2019 of FBI employees holding conservative views.
