She also said every time she received a flu vaccine, she would have flu-like symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci said he wasn\u2019t sure why the symptoms would appear after vaccination. The C-Span host then asked if the woman needed a flu shot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell no, if she got the flu for 14 days, she\u2019s as protected as anybody can be because the best vaccination is to get infected yourself,\u201d Fauci said. \u201cIf she really has the flu, she definitely doesn\u2019t need a flu vaccine. She doesn\u2019t need it, because the most potent vaccination is getting infected yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul noted Wednesday that some 80 percent of children in the United States have had COVID-19, giving them what is known as natural immunity, which Fauci was talking about.<\/p>\n<p>Paul noted that U.S. guidelines on COVID-19 vaccination do not take into account natural immunity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou seemed quite certain of yourself in 2004 but in 2022 there\u2019s a lot less certainty,\u201d Paul said, adding later that \u201cwe wonder why you seemed to embrace basic immunology back in 2004 and how you or why you seem to reject it now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/sen-paul-2-1200x800-1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4730413\"><\/a> Sen.
