In short, the Government intends to prove at trial that the defendant falsely sought to attribute the Ritz Carlton Allegations to Mr. Kuhlen\u201d and businessman Sergei Millian.<\/p>\n<p>Danchenko is set to go on trial in October on\u00a0five counts of lying to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-fbi\">FBI<\/a> about where he received information he conveyed to Steele for the dossier, which was paid for by Trump\u2019s rival Hillary Clinton and other Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>Many claims in the dossier have been rejected by U.S. authorities, and others remain unsubstantiated to this day.<\/p>\n<p>Durham\u2019s team has not previously identified any persons it plans to call in Danchenko\u2019s trial.<\/p>\n<p>The motion containing the information was filed under seal on Sept. 4.
