(Photo\/ Arkansas State Police)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 8:20 AM PT \u2013 Tuesday, February 23, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Arkansas State Police rescued a kidnapped teenager in an operation which left one state trooper injured. On Monday, Alamance County officials announced the 14-year-old girl, who was abducted in North Carolina on February 11, was found alive and safe. Meanwhile, her alleged kidnapper has died.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday night, two state troopers confronted 38-year-old William Ice after identifying his SUV outside of a McDonald\u2019s restaurant. He opened fire, in turn, wounding one of the troopers.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect then fled the scene and was later found suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
