Hong, File)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 8:02 AM PT \u2013 Tuesday, February 23, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Los Angeles County health officials are moving to expand COVID-19 vaccine access to several sectors.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, local Health Director Dr. Barbara Ferrer announced employees working in three sectors will become eligible to get vaccinated. This includes the more than 1 million residents working in education, emergency services as well as food and agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, it\u2019s necessary to not only partner with employers and employee organizations, but it\u2019s going to require coordination with trusted sources for these groups,\u201d explained Dr. Ferrer. \u201cLike the unions, workplace leaders, community leaders and community based organizations.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">New COVID-19 Cases Decline in L.A.
