Everyone that was on the bus is recovering from their injuries,\u201d Montgomery <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jmmontgomery\/posts\/pfbid0Qfg7eLpx2zPS2oqYHkyhGVkBxUtUMhuDzfwRhCwRBHmfthtbCdF6pnRjyNWy3N87l\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite some cuts and broken ribs, I am doing well. I will take some time over the next couple of weeks to heal and be back on the road soon,\u201d he added. \u201cI am grateful to the medics and highway patrol for their quick response to this difficult situation. Thanks to everyone for their concerns.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>William Salyer of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and Marc Wood of Frankfort, Kentucky, were also injured in the one-vehicle accident, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/entertainment\/2022\/09\/11\/john-michael-montgomery-injured-serious-bus-crash\/8056545001\/\">according to<\/a> a report by The Tennessean.<\/p>\n<p>Montgomery\u2019s September 17 concert in New Braunfels, Texas, has been removed from his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johnmichael.com\/\">website<\/a> following the accident, the outlet reported. All of his other tour dates remain unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, his 2011 Prevost Featherlite bus was reportedly headed south of Jellico on Interstate 75 when it overturned after going off the roadway.<\/p>\n<p>The country music artist is the voice behind several bestselling songs, including \u201cI Swear,\u201d \u201cI Love the Way You Love Me,\u201d and \u201cI Can Love You Like That.\u201d His most recent \u201cSold\u201d tour has returned the iconic artist\u2019s voice to locations nationwide, ranging from Texas to Indiana to Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>His career includes ten albums and more than 30 songs reaching the Billboard country charts. His first album, \u201cLife\u2019s a Dance,\u201d stretches back three decades to 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Montgomery\u2019s brother, Eddie, is also well-known among country music fans, serving as half of the duo Montgomery Gentry.<\/p>\n<p>The artist took to the Kentucky State Fairgrounds last month for a set of songs with his son Walker and American Idol Season 20 winner Noah Thompson.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Montgomery also recently shared a tribute on Instagram following the passing of country music star Naomi Judd. Her death on April 30, one day before she was to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, shocked the country music world.
