This new image of the Tarantula Nebula, 30 Doradus, was captured by the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NIRCAM?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#NIRCAM<\/a> instrument on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ESA_Webb?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@ESA_Webb<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/RWB0XwsKkO\">https:\/\/t.co\/RWB0XwsKkO<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/g2IVNEzBpa\">pic.twitter.com\/g2IVNEzBpa<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 ESA Webb Telescope (@ESA_Webb) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ESA_Webb\/status\/1567151845788770306?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 6, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this mosaic image stretching 340 light-years across, Webb\u2019s\u00a0Near-Infrared Camera\u00a0(NIRCam) displays the Tarantula Nebula star-forming region in a new light, including tens of thousands of never-before-seen young stars that were previously shrouded in cosmic dust,\u201d the ESA <a href=\"https:\/\/esawebb.org\/images\/weic2212a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most active region appears to sparkle with massive young stars, appearing pale blue. Scattered among them are still-embedded stars, appearing red, yet to emerge from the dusty cocoon of the nebula,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>The region was also imaged using the Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) to better display the different wavelengths.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">3\/ The region looks different when viewed with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/MIRI?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MIRI<\/a> (below). The dense gas is noted as the material that will be used to form future stars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAstronomers used two of Webb\u2019s spectrographs to take a closer look at this region and determine the chemical makeup of the star and its surrounding gas,\u201d the ESA stated. \u201cThis spectral information will tell astronomers about the age of the nebula and how many generations of star birth it has seen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Tarantula Nebula is located within the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way that is 163,000 light years from Earth, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/feature\/goddard\/2022\/a-cosmic-tarantula-caught-by-nasa-s-webb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to<\/a> NASA. Within the region lies star cluster R136, one of the most energetic known star clusters.<\/p>\n<p>The image is among many discoveries from the James Webb Space Telescope. The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/nasa-reveals-first-ever-picture-of-exoplanet-from-james-webb-telescope\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that the telescope captured the first direct image of an exoplanet \u2014 a planet beyond our solar system \u2014 in another first for the new space project.<\/p>\n<p>The image was released on Thursday by NASA with four different light filters.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Talk about out of this world!
