Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) said that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-fbi\">FBI<\/a> ignored eyewitness testimony regarding President Joe Biden\u2019s involvement in his son\u2019s dealings with a Chinese conglomerate about a month before the 2020 election.<\/p>\n<p>The former Senate Homeland Security Committee chairman told the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/09\/05\/gop-slams-fbi-suppression-of-hunter-biden-whistleblower-bobulinski\/\">New York Post<\/a> that \u201csuppression and censoring of his testimony and Hunter\u2019s influence peddling impacted the 2020 election\u201d far worse than anything China or Russia could have achieved.<\/p>\n<p>About a month before the November 2020 election, a former associate of Hunter Biden, Tony Bobulinksi, told media outlets that Joe Biden was involved with his son\u2019s and brother Jim Biden\u2019s dealings with CEFC, a Chinese Communist Party-linked energy conglomerate.\u00a0Bobulinksi confirmed the authenticity of emails sourced from the younger Biden\u2019s laptop hard drive that referred to Joe Biden as \u201cthe big guy\u201d due to a 10 percent cut in the new corporate organization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, Tony Bobulinski\u2019s first-hand eyewitness testimony regarding President Biden\u2019s knowledge of Hunter Biden\u2019s compromising web of foreign financial entanglements, especially with the Chinese, was not only ignored by the media, but also by the FBI,\u201d Johnson said this week, referring to the 2020 claims.<\/p>\n<p>The Epoch Times reached out to the FBI for comment.<\/p>\n<p> Senate Report <\/p>\n<p>Johnson along with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who has long investigated Hunter Biden, published a lengthy report on the Bidens\u2019 business dealings in September 2020 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.finance.senate.gov\/download\/hsgac_-finance-joint-report\">pdf<\/a>), which raised questions about the younger Biden\u2019s reportedly lucrative position at Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings while his father was vice president and took a leading role in handling the Obama administration\u2019s relations with Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The senator\u2019s comment came in response to <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/09\/04\/fbi-agent-timothy-thibault-hid-intel-from-whistleblower-on-hunter-the-big-guy-joe-biden\/\">reports alleging<\/a> that former FBI special agent\u00a0Timothy Thibault, who departed the bureau last month, hid intelligence that was provided by\u00a0Bobulinski.<\/p>\n<p>Thibault was named several times by Grassley and Johnson in letters to the FBI and claimed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
