And I think that\u2019s why President Biden was right to sound the alarm this week,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>But Raskin hasn\u2019t always been so accepting of election results himself. The objection cannot be received.\u201d Raskin dismissed criticism of his objection by saying that in 2017, no one had stormed the Capitol.<\/p>\n<p>Raskin also objected to the 2000 presidential election, stating in a video unearthed by the Republican National Committee that former President George W. Former Secretary of State \u2014 and failed presidential candidate \u2014 Hillary Clinton claimed that the 2016 election was \u201cstolen\u201d from her.
