Your information will not be shared with or sold to 3rd parties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>At 11:18 am, firefighters said that they thought that there were no other victims, but they caught sight of Heche\u00a0at 11:25, who was described as being \u201cinaccessible\u201d in her car and \u201cpushed up against the floorboard.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fields declared, \u201cWhere the person was in the vehicle was not in the driver\u2019s seat, but on the floorboard of the passenger seat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The firefighters managed to extricate Heche from the Mini Cooper at 11:49 am, and she was then\u00a0\u201cassessed\u201d and \u201cloaded\u201d onto a gurney. The Los Angeles Police Department was quickly able to get a warrant to test Heche\u2019s blood, and it was later revealed that while she had no alcohol in her system, she did have cocaine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Never to regain consciousness, Heche went into a coma immediately after the accident, with her rep saying on August 11 that she had \u201csuffered a severe anoxic brain injury\u201d and was \u201cnot expected to survive.\u201d The actress was kept on life support for a week because she wanted to \u201cdonate her organs,\u201d so she was kept alive to see if she was a match.
