Paltrow told <em>The New York Times<\/em>. &#8220;It&#8217;s <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/04\/07\/fashion\/gwyneth-paltrow-juice-beauty-goop.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\">actually pretty incredible<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Megan Ayala<\/strong>, a nutrition, fitness and health expert at <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/patriciaandcarolyn.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Patricia and Carolyn<\/a>, disagrees\u2014for several reasons. &#8220;Bee sting therapy is literal death for honeybees,&#8221; actress <strong>Shailene Woodley<\/strong> told <em>Into the Gloss<\/em>, advising readers to &#8220;spread your legs and <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/intothegloss.com\/2014\/03\/shailene-woodley-hair\/\" target=\"_blank\">get some sunshine<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This concept is &#8220;absurd,&#8221; says Ayala. &#8220;Yes, getting vitamin D is essential, but directly exposing your private parts to the sun is taking it too far.&#8221; Ayala also discourages people (such as Josh Brolin, who posted on Instagram about <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B5ddxy6ggyW\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">getting burned from the activity<\/a>) from perineum sunning.<\/p>\n<p>Sunning in general can cause sunburns and skin cancer.
