The group\u2019s president, Peter <a href=\"https:\/\/thenationalpulse.com\/2022\/04\/06\/revealed-who-picked-peter-daszak-as-a-covid-investigator-the-chinese-communist-party-of-course\/\">Daszak<\/a>, also played a key role in downplaying the virus tracing it\u2019s origins to a lab as opposed to nature.<\/p>\n<p>EcoHealth Alliance has repeatedly <a href=\"https:\/\/thenationalpulse.com\/2021\/10\/25\/daszak-must-answer-to-congress-on-what-happened-in-wuhan\/\">failed<\/a> to comply with \u00a0congressional subpoenas regarding its work in China, which appears to have included gain-of-function research, where by researchers manipulate pathogens to make them deadlier to humans.<\/p>\n<p>Despite these red flags, EcoHealth Alliance, in partnership with Boston University, was awarded a $1 million <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/pubs\/2021\/nsf21590\/nsf21590.htm\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\">Predictive Intelligence for Pandemic Prevention Phase I (PIPP) grant<\/a> by the National Science Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The National Science Foundation is a multi-billion-dollar government agency, who\u2019s grants, including EcoHealth Alliance\u2019s, are backed by taxpayers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResearchers will focus on predictive models of location and likely pathogens.
