Specifically, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday that Republicans \u201cdon\u2019t respect the rule of law.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe MAGA Republicans are the most energized part of the Republican Party,\u201d she stated. \u201cThat extreme \u2014 this is an extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The extreme MAGA Republicans have made their choice: to go backwards, full of anger, violence, hate, and division. <\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve chosen a different path: forward, the future, unity, hope, and optimism. We choose to build a better America.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoeBiden\/status\/1564742510408261633?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 30, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Karine Jean-Pierre also took aim at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene by accusing them of \u201cinciting violence.\u201d This comes as the Biden administration is facing public backlash for comparing MAGA Republicans to \u201csemi-fascists.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cAnd here\u2019s the thing, the President\u2019s not going to shy away to call out what he clearly sees is happening in this country,\u201d said the White House Press Secretary. \u201cYou know, again, MAGA Republicans are this extreme part of their party and that is just facts.
