Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/news\/press-releases\/chairwoman-maloney-s-statement-on-oversight-committee-securing-agreement-to\">statement<\/a> Thursday about the deal.<\/p>\n<p>It means, according to Maloney, that accounting firm Mazars USA will hand over \u201ccritical documents\u201d that will \u201cinform the Committee\u2019s efforts\u201d in its investigation into Trump. Maloney did not provide any more details, including the contours of the settlement, and Trump\u2019s team has not yet issued a public statement on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnder the agreement reached by the Committee, former President Trump has agreed not to further appeal the D.C. Circuit\u2019s ruling, and Mazars USA has agreed to comply with the court\u2019s order and produce responsive documents to the Committee as expeditiously as possible,\u201d the Oversight Committee said in the statement.<\/p>\n<p>The Epoch Times has contacted Trump\u2019s team for comment.<\/p>\n<p> More Details <a href=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2022\/08\/24\/carolyn-maloney-1200x800.jpeg\"><\/a> Rep. (Spencer Platt\/Getty Images) <\/p>\n<p>Maloney, who Trump sarcastically endorsed before she lost her reelection bid in New York\u2019s 12 Congressional District last month, again criticized Trump in Thursday\u2019s statement and accused the former commander-of-chief of stonewalling the Committee\u2019s investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement of the settlement appears to bring an end to a long-running legal dispute between Trump and House Democrats over his finances.\u00a0The Oversight Committee, starting under Rep.
