But if she does, this IS well w\/in my area of expertise. Don\u2019t want to undermine that w\/political squawking,\u201d Heidi Kitrosser, a law professor at the University of Minnesota, wrote on Twitter on Aug. 31.<\/p>\n<p>Kel McClanahan, executive director of the group, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/anti-trump-academic-floated-as-possible-special-master-in-trump-records-case_4698526.html\">told the court<\/a> that the group took no position on whether a special master should be appointed\u2014the government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/doj-responds-to-trumps-request-for-special-master-says-classified-papers-were-moved-amid-probe_4700718.html\">opposes Trump\u2019s request<\/a>\u2014but that if Cannon decides to grant the motion, then Kitrosser and three other experts are \u201cuniquely qualified\u201d to serve in the position.<\/p>\n<p>Kitrosser, who has not responded to requests for comment, has made dozens of posts on Twitter expressing animus towards Trump and his family. Her profile says that she \u201cSpends way too much time on Twitter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kitrosser said Wednesday that \u201cRecent events have led me to rethink tweeting about politics so much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolitics is not my where my comparative advantage (i.e., expertise) lies &#038; I don\u2019t want it to undermine my ability to be heard in my actual areas of expertise,\u201d she said. \u201cThe fact is, I\u2019ve spent years writing about executive privilege AND about the Espionage Act. I happen to be very well situated to speak &#038; write about both from a position of expertise.
