Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) warned there may be \u201criots in the streets\u201d if former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-donald-trump\">Donald Trump<\/a> is prosecuted amid an investigation into allegedly classified documents that were taken by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-fbi\">FBI<\/a> agents at his home earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there\u2019s a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information, after the [Hillary] Clinton debacle \u2026 there\u2019ll be riots in the streets,\u201d Graham told former South Carolina congressman Trey Gowdy on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/sen-graham-trump-indicted-there-will-be-riots-street\">Fox News<\/a>\u2019 \u201cSunday Night in America.\u201d Graham appeared to be referring to an investigation into Clinton\u2019s email server, which dominated headlines during the 2016 election.<\/p>\n<p>A clip of Graham\u2019s interview on Fox News was shared by Trump on his Truth Social platform on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Graham repeated the line about \u201criots in the streets\u201d later in the interview when he was asked by Gowdy about a Fulton County district attorney seeking his testimony in a Trump-related probe into the 2020 election. More than a week ago, Graham was handed victory by a judge, who issued an order blocking the district attorney from compelling testimony from the senator via a subpoena.<\/p>\n<p>Elaborating, Graham said that Trump is being treated with a \u201cdouble standard,\u201d adding, \u201cI worry about our country.\u201d The longtime senator discussed how Hunter Biden and his infamous laptop were treated by law enforcement and Big Tech companies in the run-up to the 2020 election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost Republicans, including me, [believe] when it comes to Trump, there is no law. It\u2019s all about getting him,\u201d Graham said.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve never been more worried about the law and politics as I am right now,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p> Affidavit <\/p>\n<p>The former president was targeted by FBI agents in a raid on his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida on Aug. 8.
