We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election, we have it on notice that basically there\u2019s about to be some kind of dump similar to that, so just be vigilant.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zuckerberg said that the protocol Facebook took was \u201cdifferent from Twitter\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat Twitter did [was] they said \u2018you can\u2019t share this at all.\u2019 We didn\u2019t do that,\u201d\u00a0Zuckerberg said, referring to the Hunter Biden laptop story. \u201cWhat we do is, if something is reported to us as potentially misinformation, important misinformation\u2014we also do third-party fact-checking programs because we don\u2019t want to be deciding what\u2019s true and false\u2014and for the, I think it was five or seven days when it was basically being determined whether it was false, the distribution on Facebook was decreased, but people were still allowed to share it.
