Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), one of the leading investigators into Biden, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/588787073\/Ron-Johnson-Letter-to-DOJ-IG-Horowitz-Hunter-Biden-August-2022#download&amp;from_embed\">sent a letter<\/a> to Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz on Aug. 23 about the latest whistleblower claims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhistleblowers have recently contacted my office to share serious concerns about the FBI\u2019s handling of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop,\u201d Johnson wrote, noting that FBI leaders at the local level told employees that \u201cyou will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop\u201d when it was discovered at a Delaware computer repair shop in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The new claims \u201callege that the FBI did not begin to examine the contents of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop until after the 2020 presidential election\u2014potentially a year after the FBI obtained the laptop in December 2019,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p>The whistleblower also allegedly said the FBI local leadership essentially said employees are \u201cnot going to change the outcome of the election again,\u201d possibly referring to former FBI Director James Comey\u2019s 2016 letter to Congress about Hillary Clinton\u2019s private email server that came just days before the 2016 General Election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is clear to me based on numerous credible whistleblower disclosures that the FBI cannot be trusted with the handling of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop,\u201d Johnson wrote in the Aug. 23 letter.\u00a0\u201cI call on you to immediately investigate the FBI\u2019s handling of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop and begin by obtaining the history of the investigative actions taken by the FBI on Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop which should be available on the FBI\u2019s case management system, Sentinel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Justice Department declined to comment on Johnson\u2019s letter.<\/p>\n<p> More Details <\/p>\n<p>When the laptop story surfaced in October 2020, weeks before the election, then-presidential candidate Joe Biden and other Democrats alleged that<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another FBI whistleblower has come forward to say that the bureau delayed its investigation into Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop hard drive, according to a Senate Republican this week.
